Custom website for a healthcare center
Polyclinic Mlynská dolina
Polyclinic Mlynská dolina needed to replace its original website built on a limited platform with a custom solution. The goal was to create a modern, trustworthy, and clear website with up-to-date information, services, care packages, and a technical foundation for future growth.

Context
The original website no longer matched the clinic’s scope or ambition.
Challenge
The original website was built on Wix, which limited the client in content management, future expansion, and overall flexibility. The design felt outdated, information was not structured clearly enough, and the website no longer reflected the clinic’s current service offering.
Goal
The goal was to create a modern multilingual custom website that clearly presents departments, services, care packages, and contact options while being technically prepared for SEO, analytics, forms, and future extensions.

What's included
Complete website foundation and technical extensions.
The project was not just a visual redesign. It included a new information architecture, multilingual structure, forms, analytics, SEO setup, hosting, and later an ordering flow for annual care programs.
UX, structure, and design
I designed a new website structure, user flow, and visual direction so visitors could quickly understand services, departments, and contact options.
Multilingual content
The website was prepared for 5 language versions with a large number of pages, metadata, and localized content.
Forms and email notifications
The scope included multiple form types and a robust email notification structure based on the specific submission type.
SEO, indexing, and analytics
The setup included page metadata, sitemap generation, Search Console, GTM integration, PostHog, and technical foundations for indexing.
Order integration
A later custom extension added the purchase flow for annual programs: form submission, emails, invoice generation, order storage in the CMS, and VÚB payment gateway integration.
Decisions
What mattered most in the project
A healthcare website is not only about design. Trust, clear navigation, accessible information, and technical reliability across languages and devices are essential.
01
Clear service structure
The content had to be structured so patients could quickly find a department, service, care package, or contact path without unnecessary searching.
02
Multilingual structure without chaos
With hundreds of pages including language versions, it was important to keep structure, metadata, and navigation consistent across the entire website.
03
Flexibility beyond the original platform
Moving from Wix to a custom solution created room for custom forms, ordering flow, analytics, better content management, and further technical extensions.
04
Reliable forms and notifications
Different form types required a thoughtful submission and notification structure so inquiries reached the right place.
Showcase
Key parts of the project
Selected screens showing the website structure, service presentation, mobile usability, and ordering flow.
Technologies
Technology used in the solution
The stack was chosen to support a large content structure, multiple languages, custom forms, analytics, deployment, and future extensions.
Outcome
A clearer website prepared for content, inquiries, and future growth.
The result is a new custom website that replaced the limited Wix setup and gave the clinic a more flexible technical foundation. The website includes a large multilingual structure, new information sections, forms, SEO setup, analytics, and later an ordering flow for annual programs.
